Brack co-founded GB Financial in 2005. The objective was to build a firm that could advise individuals, families and businesses on the potential applicability of a long term life insurance solution in their individual situations. That vision evolved with the launching of Windward Capital Partners in 2009 to further serve the financing of those life insurance solutions and again in 2012 when GBFG Advisory was launched to assist in family office consulting for certain clients.
He has earned and maintains his Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) certifications. He holds his series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses. As the Managing partner he responsible for the overall strategy of the GB Financial group and primarily interacts with the firm’s clients on a daily basis. Brack is a member of the American Association of Life Underwriters (AALU) and the Boston Estate Planning Council.
Brack was a member of the 2006 US Men’s Rowing team representing the U.S. at the World Championships in Eton, U.K. He is a long time volunteer for the Head of the Charles Regatta having served as Race Director for 3 years and now serves as a member of the Board of Directors. He is an active member of the Alumni Executive Committee for the Fessenden School and class agent for the St. Mark’s School.
Brack and his wife, Jennifer, and their two children live outside of Boston and as a family enjoy skiing, golf, cycling and travel. Brack finds fulfillment in the knowledge that work he does allows families, businesses and individuals to financially prepare for the transition that is unknown, but certain and will be the hardest for many.
